Brickwork in clothing

I found an example of someone who charted some brickwork from the Anna Meyer dress from Holbein’s Darmstadt Madonna (painted between 1526-1528). Very cool. Up to this point I had mostly seen wall hangings and pouches, and trim on a priest's stole.

Do you have a link? I have seen Anna Meyer brick work at Sinister Stitches, here:

The link is in the text, on the phrase "Anna Meyer dress". Hmmm, is there a problem with it showing up? The link that I found was from the Sinister Stitches website though.

When are we going to get to see another post? I really like what you have posted so far and am looking forward to more! Especially charted brick work! It will motivate me to get cracking on my charting since I've been distracted lately by blackwork.

FYI, the link you have to Anplica's blog (http://smlibrarian.livejournal.com/) actually goes to my blog when you click on the link.

Ooh, I'm famous. :D

Helene and Kathy, would you like a jpg of the pattern I charted for this? I finally got a useable one made, but haven't put it on my project page yet.
